CONDTIONS OF ACCEPTANCE
Conditions of Acceptance: We accept clean, current, and like-new branded clothing and accessories. Items must be in read-to-sell condition-freshly laundered, free of stains, odors, and visible damage. Items not meeting these standards may be donated or returned at boutique’s discretion.
Pick Up Policy: If items are not accepted, consignors will be notified by email only. Pick-up must occur within seven (7) business days of notification, or items will be donated. Please bring a reusable bag when collecting items.
Pricing and Sales: All pricing is determined exclusively by Valley Vibe based on brand, condition, and market demand. Valley Vibe may adjust pricing or include items in sales promotions to encourage sell-through.
Consignment Term: Items are consigned for ninety (90) days from the date of entry. During this time, items may not be withdrawn. After 90 days, unsold items become property of the boutique unless reclaimed before the term ends. An itemized list of accepted items will not be provided.
Payment to Consignors: Consignors receive 40% of the final sale price by cheque, or 50% in-store credit. Two (2) business days notice is required for cheque requests. Cheques will not be issued for amounts under $25 and are not mailed or e-transferred. Cheques not picked up within (3) months of request will be voided and converted to store credit only.
Items Lost, Stolen, or Damaged: Reasonable care is taken with all consigned items: however, the boutique is not responsible for minor loss, theft, or damage due to unforseen circumstances.
Responsibility of Consignor: Consignor participation and awareness are essential. You agree to monitor your account activity and expiry dates, request items before your 90-days ends, and keep contact information current. Failure to follow these responsibilities may result in forfeiture or dination of items. Contact Info: 250-792-3932 or vvboutique@shaw.ca
