CONDTIONS OF ACCEPTANCE

Conditions of Acceptance: We accept quality and like new articles. Please understand that our customers’ preference must be our guidelines.

Items with Stains, Broken Zippers, Rips, Tears, Fading, Pilling, Outdated, Missing Buttons, Deodorant Stains, Sweat Stains, and Strong Odors will be returned or donated. Please make sure all shoes are clean and free from dirt, grass, and rocks on the bottoms.  All items must be branded with labels. (Exception: Lululemon)
We DO NOT accept ANY items from a smoking household. We also refuse ANY items with pet hair.

 

Pick Up Policy: VV BOUTIQUE will sort your items, and if you choose to have your items returned to you; we will contact you by email ONLY.

As space is limited, pick-up is expected within 7 business days of receiving email notification. Items will be donated after that time if we do not hear from you. (Please bring a re-usable bag to take your items home with you).

 

When Do We Take Seasonal Items:

SPRING – MARCH TO JULY / SUMMER – MAY TO JULY
/ FALL – AUGUST TO DECEMBER / WINTER – SEPTEMBER TO FEBRUARY

 

Merchandise Pricing: VV BOUTIQUE will determine the selling price of all items based on age, condition, brand, style, size, and demand.

 

Item List: When you drop off your items for consignment, we DO NOT give you or email you a list of kept items.

 

Consignment Term: All saleable items will be under client ownership for 120 days. Once the item has finished its full 120-day cycle, it becomes VV BOUTIQUES property unless claimed by you before its end date. Once entered in to contract and your items have been inventoried, you may not take back
your items until agreement is completed.

 

Payment to Consignors: After an item sells, you are eligible to receive 40% of the final sale price if you would like a cheque, or 50% of the final sale as an in-store credit. We DO NOT write cheques under $25. (You must give us 1 days’ notice when requesting a payout). We DO NOT mail or do e-transfers.

ANY CHEQUES THAT HAVE BEEN REQUESTED AND NOT PICKED UP WITHIN 3 MONTHS AFTER REQUESTED, WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF VV BOUTIQUE AND WILL NOT BE RE-ISSUED.

 

Expired Items: All consignors’ items unclaimed after 2 weeks from the end of the agreement, (120 days), will become the property of VV BOUTIQUE or donated. Clients that have not brought in clothing for consignment, made a purchase with their account credit or requested a payout for 1 YEAR will be considered ‘inactive’ and deleted from the system and ownership of remaining
clothing will be donated and money will only be available for in-store purchases.

 

Items Lost, Stolen, or Damaged: All reasonable care will be taken of items consigned, although we have security cameras in place, we are not responsible for theft or loss of items.

 

Responsibility Of Consignor:

Keep account active (Refer to Expired items)
Check account balances.
Know when your agreement is up.
Request items back that are coming to end of agreement
